    We provide structured opportunities to develop engagement, independence, resilience and positive learning habits, helping young people recognise their strengths and experience success.

    Every learner begins with an individual baseline and personalised learning plan. Attendance, effort, engagement and understanding are monitored throughout the programme, alongside academic, emotional literacy and wellbeing outcomes.

    Schools and commissioners receive regular progress information, with formal reviews used to evaluate impact and agree appropriate next steps.

  • Extending what schools can provide

    The Learning Bridge Wales works alongside schools and local authorities to provide flexible, specialist educational support for learners who are experiencing barriers to accessing their usual educational arrangements.

    We provide a structured, personalised programme that enables schools to maintain a meaningful connection with the learner while additional support is put in place. Our provision can help schools respond to individual circumstances without losing sight of the learner’s longer-term educational pathway.

    Schools receive clear communication throughout the placement, including attendance and engagement information, regular progress reports and formal review points. We work collaboratively with the commissioning setting to ensure that provision remains purposeful, responsive and aligned with the learner’s wider educational arrangements.

    Our aim is to support schools, not replace them — providing an additional bridge between where a young person is now and where they need to go next.
